How did you discover cosplay and what made you start this hobby? How long ago?
K: I liked it when I was little,and I joined the Cosplay communtiy when I was in college, 10 years ago.
E: I like to watch anime and play my favorite characters. I didn鈥檛 know that this was called cosplay. I just liked it. Later I met a lot of cos partners at an anime show. I have been playing for 10 years.
S: I discovered cosplay in the Cosplay Kingdom website, about 11 years ago.
What was the reason behind your costume choice for the ICL preselection? Is this your first time joining an international cosplay competition?
K: I love the theme of Three Kingdoms, the story and the designs are wonderful. And yes, it鈥檚 my first time to joining an international cosplay competition.
E: Because JXOnline is a game that can represent Chinese culture, for me, I would like to share Chinese culture with the world. Yes,It is our first time to joining an international cosplay competition.
S: Because we love Chinese traditional culture and clothes,Qixiu girls can reflect the beauty of Chinese style. Yes,It is our first time to joining an international cosplay competition.
What does cosplay mean for you? And what is your favourite part of the hobby?
K: I can share it with my friends who have the same dream. And I love to participate in competitions with my friends.
E: I like extending my dreams to reality, for me it feels like another kind of spiritual motivation. I like the process of shaping a character I like, making their clothes and props.
S: Cosplay is my way to feel close to my fantasy world, and meeting with important partners. My favourite part of the hobby is making many ornaments.
What do you expect from your visit to Spain? Is your first time visiting the country?
K: I want to visit to Bernabeu stadium, because I am a fan of Real Madird.This is my first time to Spain.
E: I hope to see more friends and share the exchange. I like to make friends with others. Yes, for the first time. I am very much looking forward to this journey.
S: Meeting other cosers in Spain,and make friends with them.This is my first time to Spain, and I am very excited!
Have you decided your project for the finals in Madrid? Can you give us a clue?
K: Yes, I will cosplay from Three Kingdoms.
E & S: Yes,the clue is Chinese antiquity things.
